What services or support does PLAYE provide?

All brands who work with PLAYE are partnered with a Creative Project Manager (CPM) to assist with projects from inception to final completed work and beyond.

Our CPMs are English speaking and located in the UK and Australia. They’re available to meet clients from all timezones.

How many freelancers are in the community?

While other platforms may boast about having thousands of creators in their talent network, we prefer to grow our community slowly with only the best creators being accepted.

We can confidently say that our community can cover all project types and spans all corners of the world.

Can I bring my own freelancer to PLAYE?

Yes! Many brands have trusted freelancers who they’ve used before. After inviting them to the platform, they’ll be saved in your PLAYEbook and accessible at any time.

In addition, when you bring your own creator to PLAYE, you’ll pay a lower fee on all projects with that freelancer.

How do you vet the freelancers?

PLAYE has implemented a rigorous vetting process, ensuring all creators meet high standards of experience and skill before granted access to our community.

All creators are legally compliant in accordance with local labour laws.

How do we engage with the freelancer?

Upon project sign off, your Creative Project Manager (CPM) will schedule and coordinate meetings between themselves, the freelancer and your team.

Throughout the project, you're able to engage directly with the freelancer through the PLAYE platform or directly via email or WhatsApp - these communications are integrated and sync into the platform for an audit trail.

How do freelancers get paid?

Brands will pay PLAYE for the services, and PLAYE then handles all payments to freelancers, paid the month following job completion or instant payment for a small fee, ensuring that freelancers are paid promptly and correctly every time.

Can you do part of the production cycle?

Yes! Many brands come to us for just a part of the production cycle (project management, videography, editing etc) rather than the end-to-end production.

What types of compliance and legal matters does PLAYE manage?

With Direct, PLAYE takes on the risk of hiring the freelancer. We manage all compliance aspects, including tax compliance, NDAs and worker's compensation.

How much does Direct cost?

Pricing depends entirely on the scope of the project and the level of work required.

As Direct is a self-managed tool for working with freelancers, you have the option to work with your own freelancers or access our community of freelancers.

With Direct, you contract with PLAYE and we contract directly with the freelancer. This removes any possible risk for your business, as the risk is instead shifted to PLAYE.

The Direct subscription is tiered according to the number of work contracts engaged, with the subscription fee billed monthly or annually.

How much does Studio cost?

Pricing depends entirely on the scope of the project and the level of work required.

Unlike many creative service businesses, PLAYE provides a fair upfront price, cost transparency throughout the project, and competitive rates and payment terms for our freelancer talent.

We charge a fixed, competitive margin and fixed hourly project management costs.

What are your payment terms?

Unless otherwise agreed to by us in writing, our standard payment terms are 100% of the costs paid upfront, 30 days from the invoice date. This is to ensure fast payment to the freelancers, one of the many benefits of them working through PLAYE.

We accept credit card payments.

How can I log into my account?

If you have an active account with PLAYE, you can log in to your account.

If you cannot remember your password, select the ‘Forgot your password?’ link and follow the prompts to reset your account password.

If you don’t receive an email, it’s likely that you don’t have a PLAYE account or may need to be invited to your team’s account.
